The seventh 'Alex Rider' series - 'SNAKEHEAD'

I dare say 'SNAKEHEAD' is almost beyond whatever you can imagine about it. It is really the best one of this series, which the writer already mentioned. TREMENDOUS... is only one word that i can explain it.

Either you have never heard about this series at all or you have stopped the reading halfway of them just because you assumed these are for teenagers, you wouldn't have to miss it. Because a series of huge spectacle action and an unexpected ending, which makes you astonished, are never going to let you down.

In fact, I can hardly wait for the next one which mean to come out at the early part of the next year that is nearly round the corner.

REVEAL

I have seen a TV show a couple of days ago -'THIS IS YOUR LIFE'-, which was showing the life of 'Adam Gilchrist' who was one of the best cricket player and the most famous sports star in Australia -but I could say not only sports star but the greatest STAR-. According to what I have been shown by TV, while I was living in here for nearly 10 months.

During the show, there's something that draw my attention. It was 'Adam Gilchrist' walking away to the direction of the change room where the other players were resting from the batter box where he had been a moment ago, although the umpire hadn't give him 'OUT'. It seemed like he had judged it by himself.

VERY UNUSUAL AND STRANGE. That was what I thought as I watched him looking over the ground where he had left just now and the spectators begun to stir, out of the window both his hands leaning against.

Then, it was followed by a question instantly. How many percentage of possibilities are there that the same sort of happening is going to be happened in my country?

SKELETON KEY - Special Edition

I, proudly, can say the best thing I've done in Australia so far is getting to know 'Alex Rider', 14-year-old SPY, created by 'Anthony Horowitz'.

I've been reading 'ARK ANGEL' , which is 6th 'Alex Rider' series out of 7th, through the previous ones. They were full of enormous fun so that I can't tell you how much I was pleased with them.

If you are studying English and looking for a book you can enjoy without having the headache that so many words you don't understand might cause, I dare say this series could be one of the answer.

GREAT MOVIE

It might be when I was fifteen that I've seen this movie -A BETTER TOMORROW-, which is one of the best movie ever.

In fact, it was my friend, who had seen it already, that suggested to me I should see it. More than he said The movie was such a great that I was really thankful to him for that when I came out of the cinema where most of women affected by the movie were still crying.

After that I got a chance to see it twice. Despite It was not as impressive as the first experience, It seemed to be the movie had still something attractive, which explains how great movie should be.

THE LETTER - 3

It might have been a bit long time since we haven't kept in touch with each other. I should have called or sent an email before you did. I'm really sorry about that.

I'm having a good time in here and doing well at my college as well, both the city I'm staying now and the theory class in the school are slightly boring though. However, it is pretty interesting for me to learn making western cooks that I've barely done before so that I quietly often try the foods I've trained in a practical class.

How about you? Are you working at the moment? or having a lot of fun? Either of them you belong to, I suppose you are spending wonderful time that you've planed or wanted. I hope, the next time I contact with you I can hear the big news which include plenty of fun from you.

Have fun and always take care of yourself.

What is it used for?

This one is a 'SAND GLASS', both length and thickness of which are barely about the same size of my last finger.

Do you have an idea of it? or Can you make any sense? Otherwise, here are some clues for you.

The time limit is 4 min, It has been made by 'Queensland -of Australia- Water Commission' and This one is meant to be kept in a bath.

Have you got an answer? or Still wondering? If you belong to the latter, you might as well think about it while you are having a 'SHOWER'.

The GRADUATION SPEECH in 'GEOS'

Frankly, I'm not good at expressing my feelings or public speaking. Even worse, doing it English. So, I'm a little lost for words. But the one thing that I'm sure of is the past 7 month that I've sent in this school have been precious and I'm never going to forget it!

And there's someone that I should say thank you to. You are one of the best teachers ever! I deeply appreciate your answers to my questions, which -on occasion- were so hard that others may have avoided them. Thank you so much 'Kimberly'. I'm going to miss you.

And another one whose voice is going to be whining in my ears for a long time. 'Pip' you are the nosiest, but excellent teacher.

Anyway, I'm going to move to 'Brisbane' to study at my college for 2 years. But apart from that, nothing has been decided yet. Because there's only one thing that I've learnt in my life. That is 'NO PLAN IS -sometimes- THE BEST PLAN', Provided I do my best and I still believe it would be the truth.

So I have no idea what I'm going to do down the road. I'm just going to try to give my best shot in. Whatever I do...

DUMPLINGS combined with MASH POTATO & PUMPKIN

It is my first creative work, which means on my own. Two types of Dumplings laid on a couple of cabbages. The one is white dough and the other is green. Mash Potato, Mash pumpkin cooked by steaming and a handful of salads with French Dressing, which is not quite tasty. And a number of slicing carrots spread on the Dumplings to make the dish looks colorful.

Taste? Whatever.-.-;;

SAMJOONGDANG book store in NARITA(Japan) airport

This is the book store at the Narita airport where I have got the book 'CROSSFIRE', which is Miyabe Miyuki's.

If there hadn't been this one in the airport, the term of waiting - about 5 hours - for the next airplane I was to change into would have bored me to death.

MERINGUE

HONEY!

What have you been up to? <--- It's kind of casual expression which means "what did you do?" People in this country very often use this. Especially between intimate friends. I was trained for how to make MERINGUE at the school today. MERINGUE is sort of a Cookie made by only sugar powder and the white of an egg. you might think it's easy to make judging from those plain ingredients and what it to be seen, which is really simple. Well it's true in some ways. But If you should think about the time of the churning needed to make it, you wouldn't say that. The churning was so hard, both enormous speed and power was demanded, that I was totally exhausted as I finished it.

I'm going to try it again in a few days, but with a little bit of other ingredients like chocochip and almond in this time. How's the weather where you live? In fact, it's getting hot in Brisbane.

Take care of yourself darling. From your ddonggangagi.

THE LETTER - 2

Honey!

How was your day? happy? exciting? or boring? otherwise you have just relaxed with doing nothing? Anyway, I wish you have spent a good weekend.

I got out of the bed nearly 10 o'clock in the morning and had some breakfast that our housemate had had prepared for us and watched the sports game for a while which was the 'GRAND FINAL' of 'Australian National Rugby League' on TV.

The movie that I've seen today is, as I said on the telephone call we made at the evening, 'WALL-E'. It was really awesome so that it's likely the movie could be one of the best movie I've seen this year. But, not to be the first one frankly. That is still 'KUNGFU PANDA' and it's going to be behind it. I guarantee you would like it as well.

I'd better go to bed immediately on writing this letter for the tomorrow which is Monday everyone hardly like.

Lovely...

THE LETTER - 1

My Darling.

It's really great to hear you are doing very well in the Philippines and I feel a bit relieved.

The pictures you have sent to me on e-mail made me very pleasant. Thank you so much!

The schedule of studying in your school seems to be so tight that you wouldn't have enough free time to enjoy the country.

Some people say it's not easy to make progress of two goals anyone want to achieve But you are smarter and more clever than me, which means you would be able to it. And I'm never going to doubt it.

Studying English hard at the school would be very important to you. But in my opinion, more you are going to have to care about is to have a think about the way of people's thinking who live in other country.

I might say it's going to be so much helpful to you. Because I'm sure, it can make you more comfortable when you begin to live in Australia, which is totally different from the country you have been used to for more than 30years.

It has become almost midnight already. The other guys living with me are making a small talk at the living room and I'm going to have to go sleep or thrust myself on it. Have a good night honey.
Lovely, your husband.

'PUMPKIN SOUP'

This is the last 'pumpkin soup' I had in my country. The taste of it still remains in my memory and makes me crazy to try it tonight. I wish eagerly I could eat again.

'BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA'

This movie had something special that I had never expected on it. As I saw the trailer, I thought it would be a bit flat and mediocre. But it wasn't. It's actually quite fun and moving in some part. Particularly the dogs in the movie looked to be real indeed. Where can be the end of the technology of 'HOLLYWOOD'?

'PANCAKES AT THE MANOR'

This restaurant is quite famous among the koreans, who live in Brisbane, as the tastes of it's pancakes and the ornament of the building. As a matter of fact, there were lots of koreans taking seats in there when I visited for a dinner.

It opens 24 hours which is quite interesting to me. Because I've never seen any restaurant opens 24 hours while I was living in Australia. I'm really wondering now if there are still many customors between midnight and the morning of the next day as much as during the evening, when people usualy tend to visit a restaurant. I'm going to try to find out it someday.

WE CAN PLAY IN AUTUMN!

My favourite baseball team 'LOTTE GIANTS' has finally succeeded in 'Finall 4' yesterday, Which has been an ardent desire to all of the fans of 'GINANTS' for as many as 8 years. And I was almost moved to tears of happiness as I was told the news, which is never going to be understood to the other team's fans.

"Let's play in autumn!" This slogan looks like a bit funny has been an catch phrase of 'GIANTS' for last several years. And eventually the players and staffs have made the dream come true. I well and truly proud of them now.

THE ROAD TO HOSPITALITY

This book is the one that I'm going to have to go through during the first semester at my college. And it certainly depends on how much I'm trying not to keep it away from me whether this book will be quite boring or not. Can I manage to do it?

Foggy day

It was big foggy in the morning today. I've never seen a weather like this since I came to AUS. Iiarysn't it magnificent view?
